Evening Pilots,
Biggest news this week is the well-deserved promotion of two of our
most promising Squadron Commanders! Inferno CMDR Dempsey and Cyclone
CMDR Zosite Konstyte Styles have both been promoted to the rank of
Captain for their excellent efforts so far! Congratulations to both!
We’ve also had regular shuttles dock with the Challenge over the
past week with new pilots (some older than others!) Oh and a few
free cases of beer for yours truly smuggled in there somewhere!
Cyclone has received new pilot in the form of SL Lvpps – welcome
aboard Pilot, I hope you enjoy your stay. Also joining Cyclone is
former Challenge Commodore and EH veteran of over 11 years, COL
Maverick! LCM Richlet, another Challenge veteran has rejoined
Thunder squadron, and former Omega squadron CMDR, LC Diaboli has
rejoined us once more in his old hunting grounds of Omicron
squadron! Good luck to all… I hope you oldies have not forgotten how
to drink like a true Challenge pilot! And fly of course… drunk!
Two of our newest pilots have been promoted to the rank of
Lieutenant following completion of their first activity!
Congratulations to LT Verde and LT Vertigo, both of Cyclone
squadron… keep up the good work pilots! LT Vertigo has also been
awarded his Commendation of Bravery for completion of his first 30
TC missions – excellent start!
Congratulations to LCM Rue Socky on being appointed a Flight Leader
within Tornado squadron – Rue has been consistently active within
the squadron and fully deserves this position!
Inferno CMDR Dempsey has instigated a ship-wide competition that
will run through the month of August – full details below! This is a
really easy way to earn a couple of shiny new medals, so take a look
and email Dempsey your answers! You still have time for Round 1….
Thunder is still in need of a new CMDR – please send your
application to myself and COL Angel if you fancy a shot at this job.
SM/3 is the only requirement, however I am looking for someone with
enthusiasm to move the squadron forward, and will be expected to
perform a full tour of duty.
As you should already know, COL Angel is on leave for a few days as
he is on holiday. We should expect the good Colonels shuttle to
arrive back on the Challenge with us on Sunday. He has orders to
smuggle in some French alcohol when he comes back!
Apologies but I have not had chance to look through the website over
the weekend as promised, I shall be making another effort this
weekend! Please bear with me whilst I give the site its long-overdue
update!
All MSEs have been received and will be processed shortly. Hopefully
lots of shiny new medals to award!
