Wing X WC Report #7 - January 9, '05
-===Intro===-
As some of you may or may not know, I'm currently "sort of" on a leave
of absence. In the process of moving, and won't have a stable internet
connection for about a week. My usual high online time is gone for
that period, but will resume soon!
That really covers it. I've been busy driving and making plans and
stuff all week, so this report will be abbreviated. Expect a more
detailed one next week or so!!
-===Wing News===-
* ECR results came in right after I sent my last report out! Our
custom battle took first place, and the Challenge won the comp,
reclaiming it's rightful position as TCBG Flagship! Hooray for you all!
* Grats to CPT Dan Bonini who took first place and a IS-SR in last
month's Recruitment comp!
* Cyric wants each Squadron to choose an official color for your
squads. When you get one, email your choice to Stuart (he'd like the
HTML color code for it too, if possible).
* Currently, there are two FL vacancies on the Challenge, Thunder 2-1
and Typhoon 3-1. If you're interested, see the CMDR of said Squadron.
* If you've been doing activity like SWG or Freeworlds, make sure you
let your CMDR's know!

-===Competitions==-
1. Off The Record! You are a journalist assigned the task of writing
an article about the recent appointment of Ast to FC. The article has
to be related to the event in some way. Submissions go to
xo@emperorshammer.org, subject line of "Off the Record." Deadline is
Jan. 31. If interested, I highly encourage you to take a look at the

2. Boss the COM around! An unofficial comp, but if you can get a total
of 5 wing members to "sign" a "petition" to get Stuart to do a certain
activity (IE, fly 10 battles, create a battle, make up 40 trivia
questions, etc.), he'll do it!
3. Wing X Propaganda Comp! The Challenge site (
http://isdchallenge.tcbg.net ) has a link for "About," where
prospective pilots can read the History of the Challenge. Currently,
it's blank, with the filler text and graphic that was put up when the
site was created. For this comp, you are to write a form of Propaganda
to be put on this page. In under 500 words, write something that will
convince prospective drunken Wing X-ers to join up! Winner will
receive a IS-SR, and their piece will be used on the site. Runner up
gets a IS-BR. Any questions, feel free to ask 'em. Submissions go to
me at coranel@isdchallenge.tcbg.net, while CC'ing your CMDR. Comp runs
all month long. Got till Jan. 31 to get them in!

I didn't have much this week. Will have more info when I'm not stuck
using webmail at a local LAN center, and can get my computer hooked up
again. :P
