Wing X WC Report #11 - February 6, '05
Typhoon Squadron: "We're good enough to make the SSL playoffs! But win it? Bah! That'd be effort!"
-===Intro===-
Happy birthday to one and all! Now, I know you may be wondering...has Cor lost his mind? The answer is...yes. Long time ago. But that's beside the point. :P
For most of you who were here a year ago, you may remember the Birthday comp that Master ran. That's right...tomorrow is the ninth anniversary of the commissioning of the ISD Challenge! To honor such an occasion, a series of competitions shall run over the course of the next month. Specifics on the first two comps that start will be sent out in about 12 hours, when they actually start!
Thanks to Master for 'allowing' me to shamelessly rip off of his idea. And by allowing, I mean doing it in the first place. :P

* A couple promos! Congrats to the following people who were promoted this MSE period: CM Alexi Stukov, LCM Ranj'e Lilos, CPT Alexander Anderson, CM Great Griffin, and LC Coranel. Congrats once again to one and all!
* Congrats to Master who moves on to..."better"...things as the new CA:TAC. Best of luck to him! Tempest CMDR isn't open for apps at this time.
* Currently, there is one FL vacancy on the Challenge, Thunder 2-1. If you're interested, see the CMDR of said Squadron.
* If you've been doing activity like SWG or Freeworlds, make sure you let your CMDR's know! It counts as activity!

1. Off The Record! You are a journalist assigned the task of writing an article about the recent appointment of Ast to FC. The article has to be related to the event in some way. Submissions go to xo@emperorshammer.org, subject line of "Off the Record." Deadline is February 7th. 2. Boss the COM around! An unofficial comp, but if you can get a total of 5 wing members to "sign" a "petition" to get Stuart to do a certain activity (IE, fly 10 battles, create a battle, make up 40 trivia questions, etc.), he'll do it!
Two more are coming out tomorrow, though! :P
